Taken before their time: Kirby Puckett and Dana Reeve

Puckett, a joy to watch on the baseball field, was only 45 when he died yesterday of a stroke.

Reeve died of lung cancer less than two years after the death of her husband, Christopher Reeve. She leaves behind a 13-year-old child, which makes her death even sadder.
