4. Audrey Hepburn. Sui generis, no one looked like her or wore clothes so well. When she's on screen, you don't notice anyone else.
5. Ingrid Bergman. Has anyone ever glowed the way Bergman did?
6. Myrna Loy. From the Thin Man movies to Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House to Airport 1975, for crying out loud. She worked forever and always delivered.
7. Jean Harlow. Sassy, sexy and spunky.
8. Humphrey Bogart. The one and only.
9. Russell Crowe, my favorite contemporary actor.
10. Montgomery Clift. Beautiful, brooding and doomed.
