Greetings from sunny California. I've been doing plenty of nothing since I got here, which is a good thing. The weather's been glorious: Mid-seventies during the day, no humidity, and cool clear nights. We visited William Randloph Hearst's place at San Simeon yesterday and I must have inadvertently erased all the pics from my camera. So the above is from the site's webpage. It must be seen to be believed.
Bernstein: There's a lot of statues in Europe you haven't bought yet.
Charles Foster Kane: You can't blame me. They've been making statues for some two thousand years, and I've only been collecting for five.
