It's depressing

When your 80-year-old aunt leads a more exciting life than you do. Throughout the evening Saturday, Aunt Rose took center stage as she regaled us with tales of camel riding in Tangiers and deep-sea diving in Hawaii. Of course, many of those episodes occurred at an earlier time, but she still gets out more than I do.

Then there's my 94-year-old grandfather, who's celebrating his second wedding anniversary with his third wife--a chick in her 70s.

These characters are from different sides of the family. So maybe a rocking old age is in my future?
