Reentering the blogosphere: Miers edition

I've been out of the loop for a while, so I'm playing catch up with the news. But really, it's like I never left. Take Harriet Miers. Please.

Conservatives still hate the Miers nomination. They suspect that she won't be an advocate for originalism. And now word has it that she may be a moron.

Miers is an evangelical Christian who may vote to overturn Roe v. Wade, which may be a bad thing for her confirmation. And President Bush's emphasizing her religious bonafides probably did more harm than good, which is why he may be changing his strategy with regard to pushing her nomination.

I think that about sums it up.
