I've been asked to post ten things I've never done before. So here goes:
10. Driven cross country. Down the coast, but never across.
9. Asked a celebrity for an autograph.
8. Ridden a horse. If I want to get somewhere, I'll take my car. If I want exercise, I'll ride my bike.
7. Been moved enough to open my wallet during NPR pledge week.
6. Been to a casino. Early fantasies centered on playing chemin de fer with Cary Grant in Monte Carlo. Now I'll just wait 'til I'm old enough to unselfconsciously don a powder blue tracksuit and a fannypack and belly up to a slot machine with a plastic cup full of quarters.
5. Discharged a firearm.
4. Mooned anyone.
3. Broken a limb.
2. Stood up at a wedding and declared that I knew of a reason why the couple shouldn't wed.
1. Sued anyone.
