Advice for choosing DVDs

From J. Cassian at February 30:
Avoid any British comedy whose cover shows the protagonists running round with "hilariously" oversized heads and puny bodies (extra clue: the title will usually begin with the words "Carry On..."). Any film which has "zany" (from the Italian for "tragically unfunny") or "rib-tickling" in the blurb is a no-no. American comedies: steer well clear of anything with "Adams" or "Patch" in the title.
Thanks to Michael Blowhard for pointing out this blog.
