Third time's the charm

A Cuban family that tried to get into the U.S. by converting into a boat a 1951 pickup and then an old Buick finally made it in on foot, crossing the Texas-Mexico border on foot.

Isn't it about time we stopped this masquerade? Why should Cubans caught on dry land be allowed to stay, while those at sea are turned back?

As Chrenkoff (who pointed me to this story) says: "If you're industrious enough to attempt an ocean crossing to America on a 1951 Chevy pickup converted into a boat, you should be allowed in, and I'm sure you'll make a great and productive citizen of the United States."

Hear! Hear!
